We went over to town to see the fireworks show last night. It was pretty cool. I used an old tripod (a cheapie) that we had from our video camera days and it worked okay. I learned alot during my first attempt at shooting fireworks.
1. get there early, so you can get a good spot that doesn't include hydro lines, street lights, etc.
2. practice, practice, practice!!!
3. use a remote to shoot pics
Well, I probably learned more than that, but I've got a killer headache and need to rest my eyes for a bit while hoping that my Advil kicks in soon.
Enjoy my first attempts at fireworks. (I still think they turned out better than with my point and shoot camera!)
