African Savanna Birds

Welcome Back!

This time I'm highlighting some birds I found along the African Savanna Trail. The first two photos are Southern Ground Hornbills. You can see the family in the first pic and the baby in the second pic!

The next four shots are of a bird called the Marabou Stork. I think we caught them during their nap, as they were not very active, just hiding behind some bushes.

The last shot is a wild bird, not from Africa, but who we caught hiding in the trees.

Well, I've been hit by the PLAGUE thanks to my lovely family for sharing their germs! Still feeling crappy today! Missed my lunch with my friends yesterday too! :-(

More soon...

For the Birds...

Wow, it's been 2 weeks since my last post..hard to believe it's been that long! I haven't posted because I have been very creative and made lots of handmade cards for Halloween and Christmas!!! Lots of fun!

I have not taken any pictures lately!! (just Keturah's bday party last weekend!) So, here are some rare birds, that I shot at the Magnetic Hill Zoo in New Brunswick during our holidays in August.
