Anchorage Provincial Park, Grand Manan Island

Welcome Back!

This time I have a few more photos from the Red Point area of the Anchorage Provincial Park.

These photos include scenic shots of the beach, sun, rock formations and of course, the critters (green crabs!)

This week went by very quickly! I wrote and passed my exam on Wednesday, so officially was completed everything Wednesday afternoon! I left with mixed emotions...I will miss all the teachers and the friends I made and the routine, but I'm very glad to be done the program and now I can move onto the next phase of my venture! Yay!

I have been working on my own business, which is a web and graphic design business. My webpage can be found here:

Please send my info to anyone who might be interested! I'd certainly appreciate it!

Keturah's Grade 12 graduation was Thursday night and was actually quite good...maybe because I knew a few of the students graduating! We went out for snacks and drinks afterwards at Shoeless Joes with my sister and her hubby!

Saturday, we went to my nephew's 40th birthday party..more food and fun! It was great to see everyone again and especially my niece and her family from Kentucky! Today is a lazy day..laundry, groceries, movies and a big pot of soup, I think! :-)

Have a great week!

Anchorage Provincial Park, Grand Manan Island

Welcome Back!

This week I have some photos from the Red Point Beach, which I call it, but really, it is the Red Point of the Anchorage Provincial Park. The tide is low in these pics and you can see for miles, it seems. It's a beautiful area and even has a few critters...we saw these green crabs as we were beach combing for rocks, glass, etc. So, being my crazy family, they were picking them up and taking selfies with them, etc... :-) More from this area next week too!

This week at school, I wrote and passed the Accounting Exam! Yay! It was a really hard one and it was also closed book. I needed 70% to pass and I got 76%! Good enough for me! :-) I'm so glad it is over! I then started Marketing and finished it..but now I have to study and then write the exam and then I will be all done at Academy of Learning! It did go quite fast, I guess because I enjoyed it so much (except for PHP and Accounting!) :-)

We had a graduation ceremony this week for myself and a few other ladies who graduated from the Medical Assistant Program. I was the only Web Design graduate! It was cool and a chance to see a few of my friends who graduated a few weeks ago and are no longer at AOL.

We are off to take Kevin out for his Father's Day dinner to The Works! Should be good!

Happy Father's Day! Have a great week!

Hole In The Wall, Grand Manan Island, NB

Welcome Back!

This week I'm highlighting more photos from the Hole In The Wall area of Grand Manan. These include views from the area, which include, rock formations, fishing weirs, the ferry and the Swallowtail Lighthouse on a foggy afternoon! If you look closely at these, you will see a kayaker, a seal and a cormorant.

Sorry, I didn't post last week, I was under the weather on Sunday...tired out, achy, headache and sore throat. I thought that I was getting the dreaded cold that has been going around my family. Kevin got it Friday night! I have been fighting it all week as I've had the various symptoms, but I haven't actually got the full-blown illness yet!

Well, what have I been up to? Last Saturday, the girls and I headed to Ottawa for a surprise birthday party for my friend Anne, who turned 50 this week! She was surprised! It was a great day, but very long as we didn't get home til midnight!

This week at school went fairly fast as it was a short week. There was a PA day on Friday, so I got Thursday off as well! Yay! Accounting is very uninteresting...at least to me! :-) I will hopefully write the exam tomorrow and be done with it, I hope!

On Thursday, Brooke and I headed to the TO Zoo, as I had some coupons to use by the end of June. It was kind of a disappointing visit as it was very hot, which I don't like at all and there were a lot of school kids there! Sigh! A few of the animals that I wanted to see were not on display and the ones that were, were not very photogenic...sleeping and laying at the back of their enclosures! SIGH..oh well, you can't have a good visit every time, I guess!

Friday, Keturah and I went shopping as she was looking for a dress for her graduation. She found one! Saturday, we went hiking at Lemoine's Point. Didn't see too many birds, which was good, because we didn't take any seeds! We did see a lot of squirrels and chipmunks!

Studying and house stuff today! Have a great week!
