Polar Bears, Pt. 2

Welcome Back!

This time I have the last of the Polar Bear photos. The last 2 are my favourites! Next time I'll highlight the Snowy Owl, also from the Tundra Trek.

Well, I can't believe it is Friday already...I can't believe I used to get up and out the door by 7:45am! I've had to get up and out early 3 times this week and it's tiring when you are not used to it! Yesterday I went to Campbellford for a Christmas Card Class and it was quite enjoyable..however, it was suppose to be 2 hours and ended up being 4 hours, so I didn't get lunch til after 2! Next time I'll be sure to take a sandwich with me! :-) I am also working on Christmas cards here too!

Polar Bears

Welcome Back!

This time I'm highlighting some Polar Bear photos. These guys are found on the Tundra Trek in the Americas Domain. I think there were 2 out the day we were there. One was laying around near the glass (yes, all these photos are taken through glass!) and the other would wander around..they looked hot. I like it when they are in the big enclosure, then they jump in the pool and have a swim!

Well, I can't believe it is Tuesday already! Brooke made it home and they had a nice graduation ceremony, albeit a bit long (2+ hours). Sunday I had a nice visit with my Uncle in Westlake.

On Monday I had a nice luncheon and visit with my two besties--Lynn and Melissa..We had cancelled it a few times so am glad we finally got to visit! 

Last night we had a late volleyball game (9-10pm) and then I had to take Brooke to catch the train early this morning so I came home and had a nap! :-)

The Polar Bear!

Welcome back! I hope everyone is enjoying this icy/snowy weather we've been getting lately! I could have done without the Hydro being off for 9hrs or more yesterday, but other than that it looks very pretty! I am posting my weekly post early this week as the girls and I are heading to Ottawa for the weekend...We were suppose to go today after work, but the roads are too darn yucky for me and Ottawa is getting it worse than we are, so we'll hopefully head that way tomorrow morning!

Anyway, here are some shots of the polar bear from the Toronto Zoo. There was another one in the back cage area, but he wasn't in camera-shot, so I only got photos of this one...He/she was pretty lazy as you can see from these pics. These aren't my best pics, but they were shot through glass, so all in all, I was happy with them!
