I haven't added any shots of these awesome animals lately, so here goes! These were taken at Wolfden Farm, where Keturah was riding. She has been taking a break lately due to her knee problem, so I've missed shooting them! :-)

Ponies and Horsies....

It's been a couple of weeks since I added some pony/horse shots, so I though it was time! :-) You can tell I haven't been getting out to shoot much, except for these cuties! These were all taken last Saturday.

Howdy Pardner!

Sorry I haven't posted in over a week...time sure flies when you're busy!!! I've been finishing up my Photoshop course and studying! This week I have to do the final exam and then I'll be all done! Yeah...I have thoroughly enjoyed it..so much so, that I signed up for Part II, which starts next Wed!

I thought I'd add some cute pictures of ponies and a horse, from the farm where Keturah rides (Wolfden).

Farm Cuties!

Here are some cute horses from the farm. Keturah and I went to the Royal Winter Fair and Horse Show on Friday and saw a lot of awesome horses, among other animals as well as some championship jumpers! We had a long tiring day, but it was worth it and I can't wait to go next year!

Giddy Up!

Keturah finally got back to riding lessons yesterday. Yep, when it was a very rainy day! Luckily (for them) they rode in the new arena, so stayed nice and dry, but my photos of her were pretty crappy due to the lighting in the arena...I guess I'll have to bring my bigger flash, but then I'll probably scare all the horses then! SIGH...

More Horse Friends

I haven't posted any horse shots lately, so here goes! These are from a couple of Saturday's ago as the girls and I went to Ottawa this past weekend. We had lots of fun, but are tired out!

Here are some shots of horses from last weekend. Keturah is sick with the bad cold this week, so we stayed home all day.

Slip Slidin Away...

Today, we headed to the farm for Keturah's riding lesson and slid right past the driveway...it was glare ice on the backroads! It was also very slippery in the farm yard and the horses were sliding around too. I almost fell a few times myself! The ring was too icy to ride, so they did their lesson out in the field, where it was just snowy and slushy and pouring rain at times. How dedicated some of these kids are (Keturah especially!). Lucky for me, I brought my big umbrella so stayed mostly dry! Here are some horse shots while they were in the barn, but they still all look pretty soggy though.

Busy, Busy!

Sorry for not posting for awhile... We went to the Belleville Parade on Friday night (very nice and warm weather) and Brooke had friends over too. We all went to see Madagascar 2, which was really cute. Sunday and Monday I was travelling for work and last night we went to see GREAT BIG SEA in Kingston! It was totally awesome, but I'm quite tired today.

Here are some horse pics again....Keturah's class was switched to Sunday morning because it was so rainy on Saturday and then on Sunday it was snowing and cold, so these pictures are of the horses looking in the barn, probably wishing they were in there to keep warm!

Torrent!

Here are some shots of a cute little horse name Torrent that I took at the farm yesterday. He was kind of soggy as it had been raining quite awhile and he was out behind the barn. In the last picture he is posing with Finnegan.

Today we went apple picking between the bouts of rain. We tasted and picked a variety of apples: Macintosh, Red delicious, Ida Red, Russet and Northern Spy. I am currently smelling the apple crisp that I made, cooking in the oven and my mouth is watering. Kevin is busy in the kitchen making his famous apple pie! Yummy!

Casey!

Here are some shots of Casey (the cutie), taken at the farm today. It was a very wet day, but we persevered as only horse lovers do! Luckily came prepared with my rubber boots and big umbrella so the camera would stay dry! :-)

I took about 200 shots and have some very nice shots of some of the other horses, which I'll highlight later this week!

Best Buds!

Here are three pictures I took of Andy (black horse) and Bear (brown horse) a couple of weeks ago. I love the bond they seem to share and am glad I took so many pics of them that day! ENJOY!
