Presquile Residents

We went hiking at Presquile Park the first weekend in April and here are some of the residents at the park. 1st  is a shot of a common snipe...he was very hard to see as he is the same colour as the grass, but I noticed him when he moved! 2nd is a shot of a mute swan and 3rd is a shot of a couple of deer watching us closely!!

A Hiking We Will Go....

We finally managed to get out on Sunday and do some hiking at Lemoine's Point. It was a bit chilly, but beautiful and sunny. We didn't bring any seeds with us, so the chickadees didn't come too close. But here are some critters we did see. The squirrels were NOT scared at all and kind of freaked me out!

For the Birds!!!

I wonder how many times I have used that title? I guess it is due to my love of birds (and animals in general)!! So, here are some more birds that we found at the Brookgreen Gardens in Myrtle Beach. 1st photo is a white ibis, 2nd is an eagle, 3rd is a cardinal and 4th is a barred owl. My favourite is the owl as I've always been interested in owls of all kinds and have been fortunate to shoot 3 different kinds, which, you will find on this blog. Enjoy!

Here are some shots of an alligator. These were taken at Brookgreen Gardens in Myrtle Beach. He doesn't even look alive or real, but he did move a bit while we were watching him, so I guess he was alive!
